Honda’s US-market premium brand Acura will reveal a four-wheel-drive concept at the Detroit Motor Show next week, previewed by the sketch above. Called RD-X, the concept will lead to a production version for the US market in 2006.
Although there is no word yet on a European launch, the company is already bringing one American Acura-badged model to the UK in the form of the new Honda Legend (right), due to arrive next summer. The RD-X is described as an entry-level four-wheel drive, and the concept comes complete with a wood and leather interior that Honda claims has the ‘feeling of an upscale loft apartment.’
