Mitsubishi has officially revealed the new Colt Plus, the Japanese market midi-MPV scooped by Autocar six weeks ago. The Plus shares the Colt’s wheelbase, but with a rear overhang extended by 300mm, although it’s still a five-seater. Two- and four-wheel drive are on offer, as is the Colt’s range of petrol engines.
Although selling the Plus in Europe hasn’t been ruled out, the cost of bringing the car up to European regulations and expectations would be prohibitive, says Mitsubishi’s European boss Tim Tozer.
