Aston Martin will take on the sports car elite head to head when it enters this DBR9 competition car in next year's Le Mans 24 Hours. The manufacturer's motorsport arm, Aston Martin Racing, has produced this DB9-based racer in collaboration with specialists Prodrive, and plans to enter it in several international meets next year, including Le Mans.

AMR will then supply six cars to three yet-to-be-appointed Works racing teams to compete in major international sports car series. These will be independent teams each racing two DBR9s with Gaydon's full factory support.

A very limited number of the cars will be also made available to selected customers, prepared to the same specification as the Works cars.
