Lamborghini has given itself the ultimate birthday present with a limited run of 40th-anniversary Murciélagos.

Following in the footsteps of the 1988 Countach 25th anniversary and the 1993 Diablo SE, the 50 Murciélagos feature unique spec with carbon-fibre window surrounds, grey anthracite wheel rims, silver-grey callipers, a new exhaust system and pearl-effect paint.

Unfortunately, even if British Lambo fans can afford the £185k price (£17,000 over a standard car), they will be out of luck, because the entire UK allocation of one car has already been sold.
