The forthcoming Vauxhall/Opel city car will be previewed by a concept car at this year’s Paris motor show in September, and will be similar in execution to the Trixx concept from 2004.
The new model has been under development for several years but was shelved last year when General Motors and its European division ran into financial difficulties.
When new GM Europe boss Nick Reilly took over in December he immediately revived the project, stating, “Opel needs a mini in today’s market; that will be our top priority.”
Expect the production car to arrive next year.

Re: Vauxhall city car based on Trixx
i hope they make the next city car more car like and not agila like do they not realise with agila sales that most people want a car like offering not the wedge shaped box on wheels aka agila lets have a trendy small car to take on rivals from fiat/ford etc
