Upgraded model gets cosmetic and mechanical upgrades

Japanese tuners Tommy Kaira has revealed its styling and performance kit for the Nissan GT-R at Tokyo’s Auto Salon show.

The Tommy Kaira R35 GT-R comes in Wet Carbon, and new styling features at the front include a new bumper, spoiler and under diffuser.

At the side it gets new air intakes and side skirts, while the wheels are lightweight 20-inch rims finished in carbon black. Rear styling changes include a new wing, diffuser and underspoiler.

Tommy Kaira has also made some mechanical tweaks to the GT-R, including a high-performance titanium exhaust, sports brakes and a sports suspension kit. Prices for the upgrades will be revealed at the show.

Peter,

To me - it looks like they've glued a giant-sized tea tray to the underside - there's too much plastic to;

a/ trip over when entering and exiting the car and

b/ ground out on our wonderful speed humps ...

38Carssofar,but this makes the current car look like a Mk1, it virtually makes the current car look dated already!, if you like it takes the Scharzsenager look and smooths it out a bit!?

Ah yes - always wanted a car in "Wet Carbon". I'm surprised Lady GaGa hasn't appeared in wet carbon , or did I miss something ?
