Lexus has no plans for more variants of the CT200h, according to insiders speaking at the Paris motor show.
The new hybrid, being shown as a production car for the first time, will not be sold in sufficient numbers to justify a coupé or estate version, according to Toyota Europe boss Didier Leroy.

However, engineers are currently considering a higher performance version of the Prius-power petrol-electric hybrid and there’s likely to be a plug-in hybrid version appearing after 2012.
The next all-new Lexus model is tipped to be a smaller SUV, designed to compete with the BMW X3 and Audi Q5.
