Lamborghini will launch this even more extreme Gallardo LP 570-4 at this week’s Paris motor show.
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Blancpain Edition is inspired by the competition Gallardo that competes in the one-make Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo race series and is a collaboration between the Italian supercar maker and the luxury watch maker.

The Gallardo Blancpain Edition gets a large fixed rear spoiler and a revised engine cover for optimised cooling, both of which have been derived from the race car. It also gets Skorpius black alloy wheels and yellow-painted brake callipers, as well as carbon-ceramic brake discs.
The car is finished in matt black paint and also makes extensive use of carbonfibre for parts including the diffuser and mirror casings.

The interior is finished in black Alcantara with yellow accents and carbonfibre trim. The Blancpain logo is also added to the exterior and is stitched in yellow into the cockpit.
Power comes from the same 562bhp V10 engine as the Superleggera model and its dry weight is just 1340kg making it the lightest car in Lamborghini’s range.
It can get from 0-62mph in 3.4sec and from 0-124mph in 10.2sec; its top speed is 199mph.

Re: Lambo's hardcore new Gallardo
Have they employed someone from the Lotus marketing department ???
Re: Lambo's hardcore new Gallardo
Truth is the Gallardo has grown old. I think Lamborghini has taken the habbit of making superficial special editions of its models a little too far.
Re: Lambo's hardcore new Gallardo
Its pretty endless the variations the likes of Lambo, porsche, bentley and Aston can come up with....
Gallardo, davinchi, galileo, david, martini, alitalia, roma, bulgari, gucci, Fermi, Campari,
Godiva, Grappa, Lemoncello, Marsala, Sambuca, Bellini, Como, Nero, and indeed I'm sure they will. Or maybe they'll just go through the Rome phone book? I think its safe to believe that the public at large isn't as stupid as as many think but as well the public isn't as smart as they believe either.. just wish more could understand that.J
