Ford is celebrating 40 years of the RS with a special edition Ford Focus RS.
The Ford Focus RS WRC will be limited to just 50 units and has been unveiled at the Geneva motor show. However, it is only being made available in Switzerland by Ford Suisse.

The changes are all cosmetic and nothing under the skin has been changed. This means power comes from a 300bhp, 325lb ft 2.5-litre petrol engine. It takes 5.7sec to get from 0-60mph and power is sent to the front wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.
The design was chosen from several entries submitted in an online competition. The design celebrates Ford’s involvement in the World Rally Championship and each model gets an individually numbered interior plaque signed by Ford’s WRC driver Mikko Hirvonen.

All examples will be painted white and will feature black and green stripes and WRC graphics. The boot spoiler will come in black and it rides on 19-inch OZ Superturismo GT alloy wheels.
It will cost 55,900 Swiss francs (£33,419), which is a 2000 francs (£1195) premium over a standard RS in the country.

Re: Special edition Ford Focus RS
ford is certainly coming out with some very good models and is proving to hold its own in the tough american and overseas market. i have a f350 dually and it is really one of the most perfect vehicles for me.
Re: Special edition Ford Focus RS
Yep - to me it's a case of a taking a car which is possibly a bit tacky looking and thoroughly removing any lingering doubt... :-/
Re: Special edition Ford Focus RS
I wish they'd do a more subtle one withot decals like the Monte Carlo Escort Cosworth. I guess the RS isn't about subtelty though.
