These are the first undisguised spy pics of the all-new Porsche 911 GT3 testing on public roads in Germany.
The track-focused road car sports a new front bumper design, which houses large intake grilles and a purposeful front splitter. The car’s front also features a new air intake, not used on the previous-generation 911 GT3.
The power output is rumoured to be in the region of 450bhp, but a question mark remains over whether the engine's drive will be transferred through the rear wheels via a seven-speed manual gearbox – the previous car was available with a six-speed manual 'box only – or a PDK dual-clutch automatic.
At the car’s rear, the GT3’s fixed rear wing is notably smaller than before, but the model’s central double exhausts remain.
Compared with the 194mph 997 GT3, the new 991 model features beefier front and rear brakes and a smoothed rear bumper design.
The new Porsche 911 GT3 may make its debut at the Paris motor show in September, but Porsche has not confirmed this yet. Porsche is also tight-lipped about the new car's on-sale date.

Staged Press Release
If ever there were evidence of a staged press release, this is it.
Even to the more enthusiastic eye, this car could be any one of three potential models - GT3, GT2 or even a Turbo S.
For someone to say this is a GT3 would have to be confirmed information.
I think it lost a bit of
I think it lost a bit of aggressiveness, because the windshield is different, it goes far more upfront to the hood (I don't know if I said it correctly here), so the hood is a bit shorter... I still like it though, just don't know if i'd prefer this or the 997.II GT3
the real question is
will it be faster than the gtr?
