The special edition model is powered by a 118bhp 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol

The new Vauxhall Corsa Black Edition has been launched. Limited to 500 units, the new Corsa is available in both three and five-door body styles and is powered by Vauxhall’s 1.4-litre turbocharged engine, which produces 118bhp and 129lb ft of torque.

Stop-start comes as standard and the special edition model achieves a claimed 51.4mpg with CO2 emissions of 129g/km.

Compared with the £15,600 1.4-litre Corsa SRi, the Black Edition betters that model’s 0-62mph sprint time by 2.2sec to 9.7sec and features a higher top speed of 121mph compared with 112mph.

Externally, the new car features front and rear spoilers, 17-inch alloys,  darkened head lights and tail lights and tinted rear windows.

Inside, the Black Edition gets sports seats and contrasting silver stitching. Optional extras include a Touch and Connect infotainment system.

The Corsa Black Edition is priced at £15,995 and £16,425 for three and five door models respectively.

Fidji5 can you tell me what

Fidji5 can you tell me what dealership that was, or if it a deal that vauxhall are doing nationally, as that sort of deal would really help me out at the moment, my partner is 18 and we cant find any sort of reasonable insurance. ?

Wow a stylish Vauxhall. But

Wow a stylish Vauxhall. But on reflection I have to say that Vauxhall / Opel have made some fine sports cars (well hot hatchbacks), in their history. Just a shame they are more interested in football, than any serious motorsport programme.
