Suzuki has launched its facelifted Suzuki Splash and extended its VAT-free offer across the revised range.
Revisions to the car comprise new bumpers front and back, a different bonnet and grille design and a refreshed interior, which now features a new colour scheme and a piano black-coloured centre console.
The option of ‘Sparkling Blue’ metallic paint completes the Splash’s revisions.
Two petrol engines are offered – a 1.0-litre three-cylinder unit with 68bhp and a 1.2-litre four-pot with 93bhp. Suzuki claims fuel economy figures of 60.1mpg and 55.4mpg respectively. CO2 figures are 109g/km and 118g/km CO2, meaning that the Splash model does not qualify for exemption from road tax or London Congestion Charge.
Included in the Splash line-up are three trim grades – SZ2, SZ3 and SZ4. As standard, the Splash comes equipped with steering-wheel mounted audio controls, MP3 player, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and electric front windows.
SZ3 cars add air-conditioning, while SZ4 models feature ESP, 15-inch alloys, tinted windows and keyless entry and start.
Prices for the Suzuki Splash start from £7777 for the entry-level 1.0-litre SZ2 model.

Not a lot against the Splash
Not a lot against the Splash really but it is overshadowed by the larger and superior Swift.
Hmmm
Can't say that I've ever seen one. I certainly won't be any more likely to notice one now.
Missed A Trick?
Given that neither engine qualifies for free VED or Congestion Charge (a major consideration for urban - London - dwellers), I would've thought that Suzuki would have done a bit more to shave 10g/km off their smallest engine ...
