Hyundai’s concept car for the Detroit motor show, the HCD-14 Genesis, gives us a preview of what to expect from its future large cars.
The Californian-designed concept will shape the look of its BMW 5-series-rivalling Genesis and its Mercedes S-class competitor, the Equus.
The rear-drive HCD-14 has a much sleeker, sharper look than the firm’s current executive cars, with short overhangs and a coupé-like roofline. The back doors are rear-hinged, with large, brushed aluminium hinges supporting them. The car is powered by a 5.0-litre V8.
Hyundai’s US boss, John Krafick, said he is eager to show the “dynamic driving” of the HCD-14, a recognition of the relatively soft dynamics of the firm’s upper-end offerings.

I think the new models are
I think the new models are going to be awesome compared to the earlier models. My first car was a Hyundai too, I bought that from the best Hyundai NJ dealer.
My Hyundai
One of my vehicle's is a Hyundai and it's been one of the most reliable I've owned, today I will change the battery but it has been on for over 10 years! and it is a 2.0 Lt diesel. This looks impresive and shows how much Hyundai has moved forwards in the last decade, just change the grill and it will be fine!. Thinking about that grill - Audi have been getting away with something similar for years and thats on all their cars.
i30
After having the experience of driving around in an i30 for a few days, this looks amazing. Hyundai should launch it tomorrow. It is radically different from the rubbish that I had to put up with!
