Suzuki has unveiled its new Authentic S concept at the Shanghai motor show. The car previews the styling direction of future C-segment models from Suzuki.
Suzuki is keen to launch a popular car in that segment of the market, as it's the largest in China in terms of volume.
The Authentics concept features conventional saloon car styling, which will help it appeal to Chinese buyers. The design language could influence the next generation of the larger Kizashi saloon.
Details on the new car are scarce but the new car may share some engine options with the forthcoming updated Suzuki SX4.

Fantastic. Suzuki are good
Fantastic. Suzuki are good at producing concept cars and then watering-them down, but this looks as if it could be put into production in this configuration. There are shades of Mercede CLS mk1, Peugeot 607 and Jaguar refs, which is no bad thing. Please bring it to the UK with diesels.
