Seat’s new boss Jürgen Stackmann has hinted that a new SUV from the firm is very much still in the product plan following his arrival.
Stackmann took over from James Muir less than three months ago. Muir had previously confirmed that a Seat SUV would be on the market in 2015, a year or so after a concept car previewing it would appear at a European motor show.
The project has been “signed off in principle” by the Seat board, Muir said last November.
Although Stackmann was less candid than Muir when quizzed by Autocar on the SUV project, he said nothing to suggest that the project had been put on the back burner.

I know there is a new Leon ST, but there is still a market for small MPVs as other manufacturers show.
A Leon on steroids. Very

to be fairoot seat, it's not theshelves holding back, but vw. They could've had an SUV on the tuigan, but that might have competed against the Audi Q3 in their reasoning. If seat had more say in what they could make, we'd have had the tango concept car made into production along side the Audi tt
Seat SUV
Well, they still need something to replace the Altea, and a CUV/SUV would be more consistent with their " sporty " image.
As long as it isn't a straight Skoda Yeti rebadge, a la Rapid/Toledo.
