New RS models expand high-performance range to eight cars, Infiniti to create 1000 new jobs thanks to bigger production facilities

Audi's new RS Q3 and RS 7 Sportback are available to order now, expanding the high-performance RS range to eight models. The RS Q3 is priced at £43,000, the RS7 Sportback £83,495. Deliveries to customers are expected to begin in early 2014.

The new Mazda 6 saloon and tourer have both acheived a five star Euro NCAP rating. The latest round of tests also sees the Lexus IS300h also getting top marks, while the Mitsubishi Mirage and Vauxhall Adam both acheived four stars.

Infiniti has been given approval to expand its production facilities in Sunderland. The expansion, which will create over 1000 new jobs in the automotive industry, covers some 25,000 square metres. The extension will house specialist equipment for the final stages of the production line.

Mazda customers have given the manufacturer a 94 per cent approval rating. The satisfaction rating is calculated across Mazda's dealer network and applies to the level of satisfaction from service and repairs carried out by technicians. The feedback was sent via the Motor Codes ratings service.
