The first details of the new Mercedes-Benz C-class AMG Line styling pack have been revealed.
These images were first posted on a Mercedes-Benz blog site and purport to show the new C-class AMG Line styling pack, which gives the C-class an altogether sportier look than the standard car. A new rear diffuser and a more aggressively styled front bumper with larger air intakes and chrome trim can be seen, as well as AMG side skirts and aluminium window surrounds.
According to reports, the AMG Line Mercedes-Benz C-Class will also receive 18-inch AMG-styled alloy wheels, new larger exhausts, perforated front brake discs with new calipers and sports suspension which lowers the car by 15mm.
The AMG Line styling pack is intended to act as a stepping stone between the standard C-class and the performance-based C63 AMG, which will launch later in 2014 with a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine, developing between 454bhp and 493bhp.
The AMG Line C-class is expected to be seen for the first time alongside the new C-class saloon at the Detroit motor show next month.
