Porsche has revealed the new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS at the Los Angeles show.
As with its predecessor, the new GTS is available as a coupé and a cabriolet with either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. All variants have the updated version of the Carrera S’s 3.8-litre flat six engine.
Power has risen by 30bhp over the Carrera S to a new peak of 424bhp. The increased reserves are channelled through a standard seven-speed manual or dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
The new GTS is fitted as standard with Porsche's Chrono package and PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) system, which makes the ride height 10mm lower than the Carrera S’s.
Porsche's GTS coupé is claimed to accelerate from 0-62mph in 4.0sec when fitted with the PDK gearbox. All versions top 186mph but the GTS coupé with the manual gearbox is claimed to be the fastest, at 190mph.
The Carrera GTS is differentiated from existing 911 models by a unique front bumper, standard bi-xenon headlamps with darkened lenses, black 20-inch centre-locking alloy wheels and darkened chrome tailpipes.
It is planned to go on sale in the UK soon, with prices set to start at £91,098.

Preferably the 4 wheel drive coupe with a manual box. Thanks
