Custom tuning house showcases modified pick-up version of the Range Rover

Custom tuning house Startech has unveiled a modified Range Rover pick-up, which it calls "the most exclusive pick-up in the world".

It's powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 with 519bhp. The 0-62mph sprint is said to be cracked in 5.3sec and it has a top speed of 155mph.

The bespoke kit from the customisation arm of tuning firm Brabus consists of 23-inch forged alloy wheels, a muscular bumper design and a carbonfibre bodykit.

Its interior also gets the Startech treatment, with seats cloaked in leather and alcantara, and carbonfibre trim colour co-ordinated with the exterior paintwork.

The tuner states that in order to maintain the same torsional rigidity as the donor car, more than 100 parts have been added from carbonfibre, steel and aluminium.

With the tailgate closed, the pick-up has a loading bay of 43.3in, while another 24in is available with the remote-controlled electronic tailgate lowered.
