Chinese design house IAT intends to build 10 production models of the six-metre long SUV powered by a 357bhp V10 engine

The IAT Kalman, a six-metre-long monster SUV that costs RMB12million (£1,267,370), has been unveiled at the Beijing motor show.

The Kalman is understood to be a working prototype currently undergoing testing in China with a 357bhp, 6.8-litre V10 engine.

IAT Auto, the company behind the SUV, is looking to do a limited 10 unit production run with an asking price of over £1 million.

This, however, is a guide price, because the interior is completely customisable – the display car featured a champagne fridge in the rear, for example.

Reports suggest the car is built on the underpinnings of the Ford F-450 pick-up truck, and IAT is currently looking for a production partner in Germany to produce the vehicle overseas.
