Rolls-Royce is busy plugging its new Black Badge models, which it claims are the “most extreme” Rolls-Royce cars ever. As part of its PR push, we’ve seen some facts and figures on Rolls-Royce buyers from dealer H.R. Owen, and they make for, quite frankly, mind-boggling reading.
Here are our favourites:
1. If you’re spending your hard-earned cash on an expensive car, colour options are an important decision. But one Rolls-Royce customer took it a step further. He wanted a red exterior and bubblegum pink interior – which seems fair (if distasteful) enough – but so specific were his requirements that he brought a T-shirt into the dealership for colour-matching.
2. Most of us would dream of owning a Rolls-Royce in our lifetime, but one customer has taken it a step further. He is taking delivery of three Rolls-Royce Dawns – the first time that a customer has bought three cars in one go from Rolls-Royce in London. That's just £792,000, minimum. Still, that seems tame compared to one Bugatti Chiron buyer, who ordered not one but six models, at £1.9 million each.
3. When I was 21, I was cruising around in a 0.9-litre Peugeot 106 Escapade. But it’s not the case for everyone; the youngest buyer of a car through Rolls-Royce London was 21 years old. It wasn’t just any car either – it was the one-off Rolls-Royce Wraith Inspired by Film. If you think that’s impressive, there’s more: the youngest Rolls-Royce buyer in the world, ever, was a boy from Taiwan who ordered his first Phantom at the age of just 12.

Mindless click bait - is this the Mail Online?
3 things that are (possibly) unique to RR owners? Taking the umbrella out of the door. Double checking the wheels all the time to see if the logos are still all the right way up. Raising or lowering the Spirit of Ecstasy from inside the car. I dunno...is there a journo in the house?
