Under its skin, PEUGEOT’s striking and spacious SUV is packed with advanced technology that helps to keep you and your passengers safer

Thanks to its sharp exterior styling, an avant-garde high-tech interior, and a spacious interior that is perfect for passengers and luggage, the PEUGEOT 3008 is a shining light in the highly competitive world of family-friendly SUVs.

We love its fresh, stylish design, its generous levels of equipment and its boldly impressive interior.

And we’re not the only ones impressed by the PEUGEOT 3008. The Fifth Gear team recently got their hands on it, and presenter Vicky Butler-Henderson found plenty to like – including a comprehensive suite of advanced safety features that helped it earn a five-star Euro NCAP rating.

Protecting you and your passengers

The PEUGEOT 3008’s comprehensive suite of safety features starts with Active Safety Brake. It detects potential hazards in the road ahead – including pedestrians – then uses the Distance Alert System to warn the driver, before the Automatic Emergency Braking System activates the brakes.

The Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop Function standard on GT models, automatically maintains your speed and a safe distance to the car ahead, slowing to a halt if needed – perfect for stop-start traffic. It works perfectly with Speed Limit Recognition, which identifies the correct speed limit, and displays it on the 12.3-inch head-up digital display.

The Safety Plus Pack adds PEUGEOT’s Smartbeam Assistance, which automatically activates or de-activates full beam depending on the conditions and traffic, as well as Active Blind Spot Detection – giving you a warning in the wing mirrors about adjacent traffic that you’re either overtaking or being overtaken by.

Also available on selected trims is Lane Keeping Technology, which combines Lane Departure Warning and Active Lane Keeping Assistance, while Advanced Driver Attention Alert warns you if you’ve been driving too long, or are starting to show signs of fatigue.

You also have the option of the pioneering PEUGEOT Connect SOS and Assistance, which can automatically detect an accident, identify your vehicle’s location and contact the emergency services for a rapid response.

Confident on the road

The PEUGEOT 3008 hasn’t just been designed to be safe on the open road, it has also been designed to make driving SUVs fun again.

With a choice of advanced PureTech petrol engines, BlueHDi diesel engines, and six-speed manual and 8-speed automatic gearboxes, the PEUGEOT 3008 offers fuel economy up to 76.3mpg and CO2 emissions as low as 105g/km.
