Would you pay £169,555 for a Gallardo LP560-4? We would…

We were first to bring you a drive of the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, and now you can decide which boxes to tick as well. Carbon-ceramic brakes, which no self-respecting Lambo owner would be without, will cost a whopping £9729. Sat-nav will set you back a further £1614, and the biggest alloys available will cost a further £3243. Sports set-up gets you stiffer springs but no loss in ride height; it costs a further £1390. Finally, the new e-gear transmission that improves so much on the old e-gear gearbox wears a price tag of £6249.All of these options go on top of the list price of £147,330, meaning that your Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 could easily cost £169,555. Still, that looks cheap next to the £172,500 Ferrari 430 Scuderia. We’ll have to wait until we can get our hands on a UK-spec LP560-4 before we can compare it to Ferrari’s sublime, hardcore 430, but even so we’d need no persuasion to sign a £170k cheque in return for the best Gallardo yet.
