The car's ride height has been raised by 65mm over the V60 on which it is based. It also has high-profile tyres, front and rear skid plates, side scuff plates, bumper extenders and lower body cladding.
A diesel-only engine line-up includes a base D3 unit and a new 179bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder D4 turbodiesel with either front or all-wheel drive.
Volvo says the new model offers "a sporty, connected yet comfortable driving experience with the freedom to explore new horizons."
