A facelifted version of the Audi S6 has been spotted performance testing at the Nürburgring.
The most significant difference on this new model comes with Audi’s LED headlights, only previously having been available on the larger Audi A8.
Other updates are predicted to be subtle. Tweaked bumpers and modified side skirts make up bodywork changes, alongside an altered Audi grille. Changes inside should be minor with an upgraded version of Audi’s MMI infotainment system being the only headline alteration, alongside the firm's latest safety and assistance systems.
The same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine remains, but power could see a slight increase from 414bhp to around 429bhp, as well as minor improvements to fuel economy to better the current car's 29.4mpg. The new model should also improve on the existing 0-62mph sprint time of 4.6sec.
Reports suggest the facelifted S6 will make its debut at the Paris Motor Show in October, before going on sale early next year. Prices are not expected to stray far from the £54,505 asked for the current car.
