Special BTCC-inspired model launched with £3700 of extra kit

Honda has released a limited edition Civic inspired by its BTCC racer.

The Honda Civic Ti is based on the 1.4 and 1.8 i-VTEC SE models and comes with an extra £3700 worth of kit as standard over those cars.

The Ti is fitted with Team Dynamics 17-inch matt black alloys and a Crystal Black GP body kit including side skirts, rear body skirts, front spoiler and a rear spoiler finished in white. All Civic Tis come in Premium White Pearl.

Inside, it gets a high-end Pioneer sat-nav with full iPod and USB connectivity to commemorate Pioneers’ involvement as the title sponsor of its BTCC team run by Team Dynamics.

Based on the 1.4 and 1.8 i-VTEC models, the car has £3,700 worth of new kit, including a state-of-the-art Navigation Multimedia System with sat-nav, and 3D touch screen, made by Pioneer, the main sponsor of the Honda Racing Team for 2011.

Just 500 will be on sale in the UK from March, with prices starting at £15,995 for the 1.4 and £16,995 for the 1.8.
