Mazda is continuing the 20th anniversary celebration of its MX-5 by launching a new special edition for the summer.
This Mazda MX-5 Miyako is the first special edition MX-5 launched by Mazda to be based on both the soft-top and roadster coupe variants.

While the cars performance and underpinnings remain largely the same, the Miyako has been equipped with a front suspension strut brace to improve steering response.
This aside, the changes are all cosmetic and include a leather trim different to that of the stock roadster, metallic paint as standard and larger 17-inch alloys. Special badging completes the package.
The 1.8-litre soft-top costs from £18,385, while the more powerful 2.0-litre roadster coupe costs from £20,885. Just 500 examples of each variant will be available in the UK.

Re: Mazda launches special MX-5
I don't think that white suits nearly every new car. It looks fantastic on many more sports orientated models, particularly if they have a certain amount of black or chrome detailing, but I think mainstream models can look very bland and utilitarian. And I think white SUVs in particular look awful, I guess thats why its the worst colour for resale values in SUVs (if what I've read in the motoring press is correct).
