Nissan will launch a new electric concept at the Paris motor show later this month.
The firm has released a solitary teaser image of the concept, known as Townpod, which is intended to show how Nissan will expand its portfolio of zero-emission vehicles.

“Townpod is designed to offer zero-emissions mobility to a future generation of home-based, innovative entrepreneurs who are creative and tech-savvy,” said Nissan in a statement.
“It is more than just a car and it’s more than just a van – it heralds a new era of flexible, stylish vehicles that will bring electric vehicle mobility to the masses.”
Autocar understands the concept is not expected to be the previously confirmed Nissan Leaf-based electric van, which is also due to be launched at Paris.

Nissan’s show stand will feature its new Juke, Micra and Leaf models, as well as a revised version of the X-Trail.
The revised Nissan X-Trail will get a new front grille, new rear lights and larger wheels, as well as higher-quality materials for its interior. Changes have also been made to the diesel engine, gear ratios and aerodynamics to improve fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
