Some intriguing, innovative and inspired cars were unveiled at this week's Frankfurt motor show – as well as some of the weirdest automotive creations ever seen.

1 – Rimac Concept One

Croatian manufacturer Rimac Automobili has produced an 190mph electric super car called the Rimac Concept One, which was on display for the first time at Frankfurt motor show.Rimac Concept One

2 – Chang'an Sense concept

3 – Citroën Tubik concept

6 – Artega SE

German manufacturer Artega displayed a 126mph electric version of its mid-engined sports car, the Artega SE.Artega SE

7 – Eterniti Hemera

8 – Chevrolet Miray concept

The Chevrolet Miray is an open-top sports car with heavily sculpted carbonfibre bodywork. Frankfurt marked the first time the car had been officially seen in Europe.Chevrolet Miray

9 – Bugatti L'or Blanc

Bugatti revealed its latest special edition - the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport - at the show. The one-off Bugatti L’Or Blanc model is clad with porcelain. Bugatti L'or Blanc

10 – Vauxhall RAK e concept

Vauxhall's RAK e electric tandem two-seater was well received. According to Vauxhall-Opel boss Nick Reilly, the machine 'is a very serious concept'.Vauxhall RAK e
