Re: New diesel for Jeep Patriot
I suppose 'emissions' would have been a better term than 'economy', as the new Mercedes unit drops 13 points on the What Green Car environmental damage scale compared to the old VW unit. CO, HC, NOx and PM are all down dramatically hence the EU5 certification.
I quite fancy one, as it's a nice compact size and looks nice and chunky. It certainly has more visual appeal than a Skoda Yeti!
Re: New diesel for Jeep Patriot
I think the old one was pretty efficient to be honest. I think where this one scores is that it is much quieter than the old one.
Towing capacity is up by a third as well which is pretty good.
Re: New diesel for Jeep Patriot
At least the Patiot's now competitive on the economy front, even if it does fall behind rivals in other areas. Saying that, though, it is well priced - and you can get decent discounts!
