Gymkhana star will launch a new video of his 641bhp Fiesta on YouTube shortly

US rally star Ken Block has revealed his new Ford Fiesta Gymkhana car.

Block, who also competes in the WRC for Ford, made his name making online Gymkhana videos in his Subaru Impreza before switching to Ford last year.

Powering the car is a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine capable of 838bhp, but it's been detuned to around 641bhp to boost traction. It produces 660lb ft of torque and all four wheels are driven through a six-speed sequential gearbox. Block claims the car is capable of 0-60mph in just 2.0sec.

It is wider than the standard Fiesta road car it has based on and has been given several muscular styling upgrades, include wider arches, larger spoilers and new bumpers.

  • The American has completed a day's testing in the car in the UK and has said it can "handle loose, while still providing complete control".

A video of Block in action in the car for the first time will be released on YouTube shortly.

Re: Ken Block's new Ford Fiesta

I wonder how it would compare to a F1 car. I remember when the the GpB cars would have qualified mid field on the twistier circuit, can remeber which one, maybe Estoril but I'm sure I will be corrected!
