Alfa Romeo has launched its Mito Cloverleaf at the Frankfurt motor show.
The 170bhp Mito is powered by Alfa’s revolutionary new 1.4-litre MultiAir engine. It will be badged as Quadrifoglio Verde at the show, but it will take the iconic Cloverleaf name when sales in the UK start early next year.

Alfa is also displaying two other Mito MultiAirs, both equipped with the 1.4-litre engine. One will produce 105bhp, while the other puts out 135bhp.
The Italian firm will be showing the 2010 range of 159, Spider and Brera models equipped with its two new engines. The 200bhp 1750 TBi and the 170bhp 2.0 JTDm will be on show.
Alfa is also be exhibiting the Alfa 8C Competizione and Alfa 8C Spider at Frankfurt.

Autocar ..... image obsessed people who can't afford a new BMW or Audi will gravitate toward the Mini as they do now.
However .... I think the Mito was just a few springs / shocks away from being a cracker .... so new engines, gearboxes and suspension makes for exciting times!
