The Citroen GT supercar, first shown at the Paris motor show last year, will be on display at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
A Citroen spokesperson has confirmed that the GT will be at Goodwood, and may even be driven up the hill during the event, although that is as yet unconfirmed. Rumour has it that Citroen WRC star Sebastien Loeb may be behind the wheel if the GT runs.
Citroen GT supercar is for real
Citroen’s product chief, Vincent Besson, revealed at this year’s Geneva show that the popularity of the concept has meant that the GT, which was originally only destined to feature in the Gran Turismo 5 video game, will now be built in limited numbers.
Power for the GT will come from either a Ford or GM V8.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed runs from 3-5 July.
