This July should be an exciting month for anyone tempted by a fast, VXR-badged Vauxhall. That's because the Luton-based Brit car brand has just announced a series of special track days at which you can drive every VXR model in the range flat out, including the new Corsa VXR and the VXR8 Australian super-saloon.
The track days are being held at Donington Park, Derbyshire (July 5 & 6), Oulton Park, Cheshire (July 11 & 12), Brands Hatch, Kent (July 25 & 26) and Thruxton, Hampshire (July 25 & 26).
It costs £95 to take part, and you get 90 minutes on circuit, with a fully-qualified instructor, for your money.
That'd be good value for a normal bring-your-own-car track day; it's great value considering that someone else is supplying the car, the fuel, the tyres and the insurance cover.
Here's the best bit though; if, after attending, you like one of the VXR models enough to buy one this year, Vauxhall will refund the cost of the track day against the cost of the car.
