Chrysler will present the Akino concept at the Tokyo motor show

Chrysler won't confirm whether this new Akino concept car is scheduled for production, but it could hint at a future little brother for the Voyager people-carrier.

Named after Japanese-born designer Akino Tsuchiya, the compact five-seater features rear-hinged back doors and no central pillar to give excellent access. Inside, the front seats rotate to face the rears and Chrysler has given the car what it calls 'an emphasis on interior ambience', with bamboo on the floor and a throw rug and pillows on the seats.
