Currently reading: Continental GT gets Mulliner treatment

Bentley’s Continental GT will get equipment upgrades and styling options for 2005. Standard specification changes include voice activation for the telephone and more interior trim options, while the coupé’s price grows to £112,750. New optional fits include a two-tone leather steering wheel, an aluminium fascia, embossed seat facings, lambswool rugs and vavona and olive ash wood veneers. A new Mulliner Driving Specification, answering criticisms that the standard GT’s styling isn’t sporting enough (right), includes 20in seven-spoke alloys shod in bespoke Advan Sport rubber, drilled alloy pedals, two-tone leather and veneer combinations, and diamond-quilted hide. It adds £6000 to the price.
