The American will also be competing in selected rounds of the WRC this season in a Ford Focus before entering for a full season in 2011.
Block is famous in America for his Gymkhana exploits in his Subaru Impreza WRX STi, but this is the first season in which he will be competing for Ford.

Re: Ford's 'Monster' Fiesta revealed
I think it's the Championship regs - it has to be based on a car available for sale in the US - and the fiesta will be sold there as a four & five door only.
Re: Ford's 'Monster' Fiesta revealed
Normally a 3 door shell is stronger - having an extra aperture in the side of the structure weakens it (and restricts where you can stiffen it up).
Re: Ford's 'Monster' Fiesta revealed
I think it's for better weight distribution and the five door shell will be stronger.
