Nissan's Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo concept, which was revealed in computer renderings earlier this month, has been unveiled as a full-scale model at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Japanese manufacturer says the concept is "a vision of what a high-performance Nissan could look like in the future". Some reports have suggested the 2+2 model points to future styling for the next GT-R.
Nissan says it gave its designers free reign with the concept, with the brief to create a dream car for a fantasy garage featured in the Gran Turismo 6 video-game. The concept was penned by Nissan designers in London, with engineering input from the firm's technical centre in Japan. While not destined as a production model, Nissan says the car features a four-wheel-drive chassis and active suspension.
Vice President of the company's European design studio Koji Nagano said: "In reality, not everyone would be able to own a car like Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo, but through Gran Turismo anyone can drive it and experience Nissan’s promise of delivering innovation that excites."
The Vision Gran Turismo concept will be available to download for Gran Turismo 6 from next month, and forms part of a dedication to mark the 15th anniversary of the racing series by a number of vehicle manufacturers.
Earlier this year Mercedes-Benz revealed its own AMG Vision Gran Turismo concept, while Toyota's FT-1 concept is also available to drive in the game.

No it wont. Same BS before the last (current) GTR which 'previewed' in Gran Tursimo looking decidedly awesome and became a blandish Z car big brother in the styling department by the time it became a reality. Nobody - and I do mean nobody - buys that kind of PR bull anymore. Unless they are the same people who still think AMG hand build every engine and the Evoque really was an all new car....
