To celebrate half a century since its formation, Mercedes performance arm AMG has brought some of its most iconic models to Goodwood

This year marks the 50th year of AMG and, to celebrate it, Mercedes has brought several iconic models that bear the three-letter name to the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

From its humble beginnings as an engine builder to becoming the official performance arm of one of the world's biggest car makers, AMG is brimming with history, as illustrated by the models in our gallery above.

Easy

I've had a few AMG cars, but not my favourite - the CLK GTR. It may not have had AMG in the name, but they built it, so it counts!
