The Renault Twingo range has gained a new top-ranking model called the Iconic Special Edition that’s on sale now from £14,595.
Building on the spec of the Dynamic model, it gets a fabric folding sunroof, 16in alloy wheels and electric folding door mirrors as standard. Inside, there’s crosshatch pattern leather trim on the seats.
Also fitted is Renault’s R-Link infotainment system with satnav, DAB radio and Bluetooth. The cabin also has climate control, automatic headlights and cruise control.
All this kit amounts to £2825 worth of options, but the asking price means buyers who opt for an Iconic Special Edition essentially save £740.
Powering the top model is a TCe 90 turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine mated to a six-speed manual or EDC automatic gearbox.
No changes have been made to the unit so it still offers up to 65.7mpg and can accelerate the car from 0-62mph in 10.8sec.

I really like the Twingo, but
I really like the Twingo, but for a few hundred quid LESS you can get the more powerful GT! Why would you go for this over the GT? I don't get it.
