Facelifted Audi A4 to cost more than outgoing model

Prices for the revised Audi A4 have risen slightly.

The facelifted car was revealed last week, with changes including a range of engine revisions to reduce emissions and minor exterior and interior styling tweaks.

Prices have risen by between £100 and £1400, depending on the model. The greatest price rise is on the cleanest model, the the 2.0 TDIe, which emits 112g/km of CO2. It now costs £26,555.

However, with the lowest priced 316d and 318d not expected to be available at launch when the new BMW 3 Series goes on sale next February, Audi is expected to hold a price advantage over its key rival initially.
