The BMW 6-Series Gran Coupé will be available in UK showrooms next month, with prices starting at £61,390.
The entry-level version of the four-door coupe, the 640i is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight-six petrol engine, producing 316bhp and 450lb ft. BMW claims a 35.8mpg figure on the combined cycle.
The £63,900 640d is likely to account for the majority of sales. Its 3.0-litre diesel produces 313bhp and 465lb ft, while emissions are rated at 148g/km. It records an official average of 46.9mpg on the combined cycle.
The range tops with the £70,650 4.4-litre V8-engined 650i which will achieve 0-62mph in 4.6secs. It produces 450bhp and 479lb ft of torque.
All three models across the range are able to hit 155mph with power being transmitted to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Standard kit includes 18-inch alloys (19-inch on the 650i), 10.2inch BMW Professional Navigation, two-zone climate control and heated front seats.
An M Sport version will also be on offer, featuring an aero kit, 19-inch M double-spoke light-alloy wheels, black brake calipers and sports seats. The M Sport is expected to account for 80% of UK Sales of the Gran Coupé.

Most of the recent reviews have liked the car, but thought it pricey?,eh?......comparable metal from the likes of Mercedes, Jaguar to name two, aren't far behind,besides if you can afford this price point,then it's not the problem, if ever it was,if you like this type of transport but can't afford new, wait a year maybe two, might be down to affordable by then.
